DC Metro and Bus App Reviews

I am, generally, pleased with the app.

This app is very useful for getting DC metro rail times. It is quite accurate and very handy for everyday commute.

I live at the Shady Grove end of the red line and dont think I could have managed to survive the various recent delays without this app. It often has train info not available on the station screens. And being able to access alerts makes it easy to plan my time. I find the app comfortable and easy to use.

Just like everything associated with DCs metro system, this app is horrible. Regularly tracks buses that never show up.

It removes the guessing of when the next bus or train is coming. I also like being able to find buses near wherever I am.

Its very useful & great app if you know the buses your route around. Certain buses it doesnt show their arrivals thou wmata does.

Really good app! Always pretty accurate. I wish you could rename/nickname favorite stations though. I love the "nearby" feature--thats always how I decide whether to take the bus home or take an uber.

Great app with complete info about public transport in DC. Would give it 5 stars if it had a trip planner (if it has one havent found it).

UPDATE!!! Ive always found this app helpful until this recent update. Now the ads are the WORST!! They cover pop up at the most inconvenient times, and far too frequently - and they cover the ENTIRE SCREEN!! I cant even select all my search parameters before one pops up, followed by another each and every time I switch screens!! Im looking for another app!

Ads are beyond reasonable, if selling an ad free version of an app whose purpose is to sell you another service is ever reasonable. There are the normal small ads on the main page that make it slow to load. Then, if you leave it unattended for a minute or so, a full page ad pops up. It includes more stops and I like that it shows you the schedule as well as real time. Its no more accurate than the earlier version and not really worth switching.

App is fine but no update yet on the new DC Circulator Route - National Mall

App does not provide train departure information for End Stations... Why ??? So if I live near an end stations I have to go into the WMATA website? Doesnt that defeat the purpose of the app? This app is a reflection of their lack of forward thinking. So sad !

Your "real time" is so in error when the last bus is 6:52 pm and u r saying the bus will be there in 20mins. Are u have a hard time connecting to WMATA? This is nerve wrecking for the past week, get it together. Otherwise its OK but I need a back up App. Since Xmas your App is behaving wacked plus you schedule listings are really wrong, make the correction. I got your App so that I would not have to carry Metros bus schedules with me.

Utterly lacks rush hour yellow line to Franconia.

Hard to use...inefficient and inconvenient interface. Developers should compare with other similar apps and will know very quickly what they got wrong if they are observant...

This is sooo awesome and helpful!!!! I only wish you had the 162, 171, 152 buses on this app!!!!
